These laxative effects are produced by a mechanism of increased colon movement and stimulation of fluid secretion processes, favouring evacuation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWho it is intended for\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSuitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age with occasional constipation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eInstructions for use\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLaxative Salud is administered orally. The normal dose in adults and children over 12 years of age is 1 to 3 tablets a day, taken in the evening with a sufficient amount of liquid and without chewing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo not use for more than 6 days without consulting a doctor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eSide effects\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs with all medicines, \u003cstrong\u003eLaxative Health may cause side effects\u003c\/strong\u003e, although not everybody suffers from them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt high doses or in cases of high sensitivity to the components of this medicine, allergic skin reactions may occur. If more than the recommended amount is taken, pain in the abdomen and liquid stools may occur. The same effects occur at recommended doses in patients with irritable bowel syndrome.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProlonged use of this medicine may result in electrolyte balance disorders, dehydration, albuminuria and haematuria. The urine may appear dark (brownish) due to the compounds that are eliminated.
