ACCU-CHEK Aviva blood glucose test strips are reactive and ideal for use with blood glucose meters. Furthermore, they are calibrated to provide the user with reference results for plasma glucose levels and to facilitate monitoring.
Contains 50 blood glucose test strips.

ACCU-CHEK Aviva are test strips that help measure blood glucose.
These blood glucose test strips are ideal for use with the Accu-Chek Aviva, Accu-Chek Aviva Nano and Accu-Chek Aviva Combo metres; they are used to apply a drop of blood and, from this, obtain quantitative test results from the sample. Blood can be obtained using the meter and test strip from a finger, the palm of the hand, the arm, the thigh or the forearm.
The test strips are designed for use in hospitals and at home, and remain stable until the expiry date printed on the packet.
The blood glucose test strips are intended for the in vitro diagnosis of glucose; they are suitable for use by healthcare professionals in hospitals or for home use by people with diabetes mellitus.
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after handling the meter, the lancing device and the test strips. Take the lancing device and clean the area to be pricked.
Insert the ACCU-CHEK Aviva blood glucose test strip into the meter’s slot, ensuring it is facing in the direction of the arrow.
Prick your finger and apply pressure to obtain a plasma sample. Once the blood appears, place it on the test strip. If the drop of blood is too small, the device may give an incorrect reading. Apply pressure to your finger and obtain a sufficient drop of blood for the sample.
Once the test strip has absorbed the blood, the meter will display the result on the screen. The reading takes no longer than 5 seconds. Dispose of test strips and lancets carefully after use.
Store Accu-Check Aviva blood glucose test strips in a cool, dry place. Do not place the blood sample on the test strip before inserting it into the meter. Do not reuse test strips.
If you notice any damage to the test strips, do not use them. If they are damaged, they may give incorrect results. Store the test strips at temperatures between 4 and 30°C.
It is not recommended to freeze the test strips. Keep the test strips out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Do not use this system to diagnose diabetes mellitus or to take measurements using neonatal blood samples obtained from the umbilical cord.
Measuring principle: Electrochemical sensor.
Enzyme: Mutant variant of glucose dehydrogenase (Mut. Q-GDH).
