Anginocom is a dual-action medicine, thanks to its formula containing chlorhexidine and benzocaine, two active ingredients with antiseptic and anaesthetic properties. It is therefore used for the temporary and symptomatic relief of mouth and throat infections such as canker sores, irritation or aphonia. It also has a pleasant orange flavour.
Intended for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Take 1 lozenge every 2 or 3 hours, without exceeding the maximum dose of 8 a day.
Do not use Antinocom:
In children under 6 years of age or adults over 65.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, except on medical advice.
Anginocom may cause side effects, as with all medicines. Specifically, the following have been observed:
Frequent: irritation of the mouth or tip of the tongue, allergic reactions due to the use of chlorhexidine or benzocaine.
Very frequent: oedema (due to fluid retention), hypertension, discolouration of the teeth may occur (this is temporary and is removed by cleaning) and altered taste may occur.
Each tablet of Anginocom contains 5 mg of chlorhexidine dichloride 5 mg and 5 mg of benzocaine, as the main active ingredients. The other ingredients are: mannitol (E-421), microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, magnesium stearate, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, menthol flavouring and orange flavouring.
This is a medicine in the form of lozenges with a pleasant orange flavour. Its dosage is very simple: just slowly dissolve the tablet in the mouth so that the formula can take effect in the oropharyngeal area.
It is recommended to take the minimum amount of tablets that is effective in relieving symptoms and to continue the treatment for as few days as possible.
