For an intensive treatment, apply three times a week for several weeks, then use once or twice a week as a maintenance treatment. Apply to a wet scalp and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing.
Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a condition that affects the face, scalp and behind the ears – areas where there is a high concentration of sebaceous glands. It is caused by an infection of the sebum by the Malassezia fungus, resulting in patches of greasy scales, redness, itching and a burning sensation. On the scalp, it is characterised by dandruff and itching. Node DS+, with extracts of brown algae and Zanthalene, soothes the itching, whilst salicylic acid, ichthyol and juniper—which have a keratolytic action—break down the scales and prevent recurrence.
