Anti-diarrhoea supplement for dogs containing plantain, pectin, electrolytes and Enterococcus faecium.
Defender is formulated as a nutritional supplement for dogs with diarrhoea. It combines plantain seeds, pectin, mineral salts and gut flora stabilisers to help normalise stool consistency.
Plantago seeds 37 mg; dicalcium phosphate 20 mg; wheat bran 9 mg; sodium chloride 4 mg; sodium bicarbonate 4 mg; potassium chloride 2.4 mg; magnesium hydroxide 0.7 mg; pectin 0.5 mg. Additives: iron 0.55 mg; Enterococcus faecium NCIMB 10415, 1 mg; sodium citrate 2.6 mg; citric acid 0.9 mg.
Oral administration. Puppies and small breeds: 1 tablet every 12 hours for 3 days; on days 4–5: 1/2 tablet every 12 hours. Medium breeds: 2 tablets every 12 hours for 3 days; thereafter 1 tablet every 12 hours. Large breeds: 3 tablets every 12 hours for 3 days; thereafter 2 tablets every 12 hours. XL breeds: 4 tablets every 12 hours for 3 days; thereafter 2–3 tablets every 12 hours.
Keep clean water freely available. It is advisable to add an oral rehydration solution. Consult your vet if diarrhoea persists or your dog appears listless.
