Lightweight, sturdy walking stick for the blind, offering safety and support.

The García 1880 White Cane is a guide cane for people with visual impairments, manufactured by GARCÍA 1880. It is an assistive device that makes walking easier, improves stability and reduces fatigue whilst walking.
Recommended for people with severe visual impairment or blindness, to aid orientation and the detection of obstacles.
Height: Adjust to a length slightly shorter than the user’s height (approximately 10 cm shorter); folds into several sections.
Product weight: Very light (exact weight not published by the manufacturer).
Maximum weight capacity: Not applicable: this cane is not designed to support body weight, but rather as a guide for orientation.
Extendable: Folds into several sections for transport; it is not an adjustable walking stick in the orthopaedic sense.
Materials: Lightweight aluminium, with an ABS tip on a swivel shaft.
Hold it with a gentle sweeping motion to the side in front of the user to detect obstacles and changes in surface, without leaning your body weight on it.
It must not be used as a walking stick to support body weight. Check the condition of the swivel tip regularly.
Clean with a damp cloth and check that the folding sections lock into place correctly and that the tip rotates smoothly.
