The amount of Ibufen Junior to be administered depends on the age and weight of the child: Children from 3 to 6 months (5-7kg), 1.8-3.4ml. Children 6-12 months (8-12kg), 2.8-6ml. Children 12-24 months (10-12kg), 3,4-6ml. Children 2-3 years (14kg), 4,8-7ml. Children 4-5 years (16-18kg), 5,4-9ml. Children 6-9 years (20-26kg), 6,8-13ml. Children 12-12 years (28-40kg), 9.4-20ml. You must not take Ibufén Infantil if: you are allergic or hypersensitive to the active substance and/or to any of the ingredients. If you suffer from liver, kidney, gastrointestinal or cardiovascular disease. If you suffer from blood clotting disorders. If you are pregnant.

Ibufen for children has ibuprofen as its active ingredient, so each ml of suspension contains 20 mg of ibuprofen. The active ingredient is accompanied by the following excipients: Sodium benzoate (E-211), citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, sodium chloride, hypromellose, xanthan gum, liquid maltitol, glycerol (E-422), strawberry flavouring (contains benzyl alcohol and ethanol) and purified water.
Ibufén Infantil should only be taken at specific times and for limited periods of time. To use it, we recommend shaking it beforehand and washing the syringe after each dose. It is recommended to space out the intake of another NSAID by at least 4 hours.
