Esomeprazole Sandoz Care is a medicine for acid reflux. It is available in packs of 14 hard capsules.
Sandoz Care Esomeprazole 20 mg is a proton pump inhibitor used for the short-term treatment of symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux, such as heartburn and acid regurgitation. It does not provide immediate relief; symptoms may begin to improve after 2–3 days.
Sandoz Care Esomeprazole is suitable for adults.
Take 1 capsule of Sandoz Care Esomeprazole 20 mg per day.
Do not take Sandoz Care Esomeprazole if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of its ingredients. If you are taking nelfinavir, clopidogrel or any medicine that reduces stomach acid production, consult your doctor or pharmacist first.
Like any medicine, Sandoz Care Esomeprazole may cause side effects, such as: headache, gastrointestinal disturbances, dry mouth, dizziness, skin reactions, blood and liver disorders, or kidney problems.
Consult your doctor before taking Sandoz Care Esomeprazole if you are taking: ketoconazole and itraconazole, voriconazole, clarithromycin, erlotinib, methotrexate, digoxin, atazanavir, saquinavir, citalopram, imipramine, clomipramine, diazepam, phenytoin, medicines used to thin the blood such as warfarin, cilostazol, cisapride, rifampicin, tacrolimus or St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum). If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
