Sorenex is a medicine in the form of a mouth spray solution, indicated to treat throat conditions such as pain, irritation, inflammation and difficulty in swallowing.
Sorenex contains flurbiprofen, an active ingredient with anti-inflammatory action.
Suitable for use in adults over 18 years of age.
Apply 3 times every 3-6 hours, up to a maximum of 5 times a day.
Do not use Sorenex in adolescents under 18 years of age is contraindicated.
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to flurbiprofen or to any of the NSAIDs, or if after taking an anti-inflammatory you have suffered any allergic reaction, or if you suffer from an allergic reaction to any of the NSAIDs.Do not take this medicine if you suffer or have suffered from stomach ulcers, if you suffer from hypertension or any intestinal, cardiac, renal or hepatic disease.
Pregnancy and lactation: Do not use this medicine if you are in the last trimester of pregnancy, although if you are pregnant you should consult your doctor before starting to take it.
It is contraindicated in breast-feeding.
Do not drink alcohol during treatment with Sorenex, as it may increase the risk of bleeding in the stomach or intestine.
This medicine contains cyclodextrins.
Like all medicines, Sorenex may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: hypersensitivity, allergy such as shortness of breath, skin rash, itching....
Very frequent adverse reactions: Dizziness, headache, throat irritation, mouth ulcers, mouth discomfort.
The active substance in Sorenex is flurbiprofen. Each spray contains 2.92 mg flurbiprofen. One dose (3 sprays) contains 8.75 mg flurbiprofen. 1 ml of mouth spray solution contains 17.16 mg flurbiprofen.
The other ingredients are: Betadex (E459), Hydroxypropyl betadex, Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, Citric acid, Sodium hydroxide, Cherry flavouring, Sodium saccharin (E954), Purified water.
Sorenex is a cherry flavoured and scented mouth spray solution.
It is advisable to charge the pump before applying this medicine by spraying several times into the air. Then spray into the back of the throat with 3 gentle sprays.
