It tackles all visible imperfections on acne-prone skin with a unique and ultra-effective formula, thanks to a combination of dermatological active ingredients. Glycolic acid exfoliates and stimulates cell renewal for a ‘new skin’ effect thanks to its keratolytic action. Retinoid Booster helps reduce spots and minimise residual marks thanks to a patented** combination of retinal—the most effective form of vitamin A—and Comedoclastin. Apply in the evening to a clean, dry face as soon as blemishes appear and continue until they disappear, for a maximum of 15 days’ use. Its creamy texture allows the product to be absorbed quickly, leaving a non-greasy finish on the skin.

Sun protection is essential: due to the exfoliating and skin-renewing active ingredients (glycolic acid, retinaldehyde), the skin becomes more sensitive to the sun. Use a good sunscreen every morning.
Complementary routine: Use in conjunction with a gentle cleanser (preferably from Avène’s Cleanance range) and a light, non-comedogenic moisturiser to maintain the skin barrier.
Moderate frequency: Although the formula is intensive, for sensitive skin it may be wise to start with 2–3 nights a week and monitor tolerance before applying it every night.
Avoid harsh combinations: As it contains chemical exfoliants (glycolic acid) and a retinoid (retinaldehyde), it is not recommended to use it simultaneously with other strong acids, additional retinoids, home peels or aggressive exfoliating skincare products to minimise the risk of irritation. In fact, it is common practice to alternate these active ingredients to avoid over-exfoliation and irritation.
Watch for signs of irritation: If severe redness, excessive flaking, a burning sensation or persistent discomfort occurs, discontinue treatment and consult a dermatologist.
Duration of treatment: Intensive use is recommended for up to ~15 days when flare-ups occur. Afterwards, consider switching to a maintenance regimen or a less aggressive routine.
