Capstar Flea Dewormer

Capstar Flea treatment for large dogs is an antiparasitic in tablet form that acts in cases of flea infestation. It has no persistent or preventative activity, it is administered when infestation is detected, killing adult fleas quickly. Effects are visible within one hour of tablet administration, although 95% efficacy occurs after 6 hours and 100% after 24 hours.

The active substance in Capstar is Nitenpiram, which is well tolerated by dogs and cats and completely safe for their health, as there are no known side effects after use. It is also suitable for use during pregnancy and lactation. However, it should not be used in animals less than 4 months and less than 1 kg in weight. Nitenpiram interferes with the nerve transmission of fleas and causes their death within a few hours.

Advantages

Treatment of flea infestations in large dogs. Fast and effective action. Kills fleas in less than 1 hour. Easy to administer. Safe for the animal. No adverse effects.

Uses and specifications

Rapid and effective oral treatment against flea infestations (C. felis) in large dogs over 11 kg and from one month of age. Can be used during pregnancy and lactation. When applying the treatment, the animal may scratch more than normal during the first hour; this is due to the reaction of the fleas.

Directions for use

Dosage: Administer when flea infestation is detected.

Composition

Active substance: Nitenpiram 57 mg. Excipients: s.s. 500 mg (microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, lactose monohydrate, anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate).

Contraindications

Remember that it is NOT a preventive treatment and that its duration is 24 hours.
It kills the fleas existing at that moment in the animal but, to prevent future infestations, you should use another treatment such as pipettes or collars.

Get rid of fleas quickly and effectively in less than 1 hour with Capstar tablets for large dogs.
