PediaSure Chocolate Pack 2 x 850 g is a value pack containing two tins of powdered nutritional supplement. It is designed for children aged 1 to 10 and should be taken as part of a varied and balanced diet.
Each tin contains 850 g of chocolate-flavoured product. The pack provides a total of 1,700 g and allows you to keep the second tin sealed whilst using the first.
This supplement provides high-quality protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. It can be used at mealtimes or between meals when it is necessary to supplement a child’s usual intake.
Protein and calcium are necessary for the normal growth and development of children’s bones. Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. Iron plays a part in children’s normal cognitive development.
PediaSure is not a substitute for a varied diet or healthy eating habits. If your child is losing weight, has a persistent lack of appetite, is ill or if you have any concerns about their growth, consult your paediatrician or pharmacist.
The main ingredients are hydrolysed maize starch, sucrose, vegetable oils, milk protein concentrate, maltodextrin, soya protein isolate and cocoa powder. It also contains oligofructose, minerals, vitamins, DHA, taurine, myo-inositol, carnitine and Lactobacillus acidophilus.
Contains milk and soya. Those responsible for the child should always check the list of ingredients on the tin, particularly in the event of food allergies or intolerances.
Do not bring the mixture to the boil. If you wish to serve it warm, heat the liquid in a bain-marie and keep it below 35 °C. Do not use a microwave, as this can create very hot spots and cause burns.
It is intended for children aged 1 to 10 years who need to supplement their diet. It must not be given to children under one year of age. The need for the product, the duration of use and the number of feeds should be adjusted according to the child’s age, diet and the advice of a paediatrician or pharmacist.
Store the tins in a cool, dry place, out of the fridge. Once a tin has been opened, keep it tightly closed and use the contents within four weeks. Store the prepared mixture, covered, in the fridge and consume it within 24 hours.
Not suitable for children with galactosaemia. Contains milk and soya. Excessive consumption may cause intestinal discomfort. Avoid administering it alongside medicines or other fibre supplements without first consulting a healthcare professional.
Keep the product out of the reach of children. Observe good hygiene practices during preparation and discard any portion that has not been stored correctly.
