During adolescence, the body’s requirements for certain nutrients increase. PediaSure Teen Balance therefore provides a combination of protein, iron, magnesium, vitamin D, DHA, FOS and other selected micronutrients to complement a varied and balanced diet.

Iron contributes to the normal cognitive development of children, whilst magnesium helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, and essential fatty acids are necessary for the normal growth and development of children when the recommended daily intakes are met.

This variety contains cocoa powder and comes in powder form to make a chocolate-flavoured drink. Its formula is gluten-free.

The recommended intake is 2 servings a day, with or between meals, as required. Do not exceed the maximum recommended daily intake.

To prepare a 225 ml serving, pour 190 ml of cold or room-temperature water into a glass and gradually add 5 level scoops, approximately 49.1 g, of PediaSure Teen Balance powder.

Stir until the mixture is smooth. It may be warmed, but not above 35 °C to preserve its nutritional properties.

Hydrolysed maize starch, sucrose, vegetable oils (high-oleic sunflower, rapeseed, maize), milk protein concentrate, maltodextrin, soya protein isolate, minerals (tribasic calcium phosphate, potassium citrate, calcium carbonate, magnesium chloride, monobasic potassium phosphate, dibasic potassium phosphate, dibasic magnesium phosphate, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, cupric sulphate, potassium iodide, chromium chloride, sodium selenite, sodium molybdate), cocoa powder, FOS, flavouring, choline chloride, Schizochytrium sp. microalgae oil (milk proteins), emulsifier: soya lecithin, L-arginine, vitamins (C, K2, E, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, B6, B1, B2, vitamin A palmitate, folic acid, K1, D3, biotin, B12), myo-inositol, antioxidants (E304, E306), taurine and carnitine tartrate.

Store the tin in a cool, dry place at room temperature; do not refrigerate.

Once opened, keep tightly sealed and use the contents within 3 weeks.

Once the mixture has been prepared, keep it covered and refrigerated, and consume within 24 hours.
