Vetnova Abelia Trisedta is a medical device specially designed for the care of the external auditory canal and the outer ear. It is recommended for cleaning and caring for pets’ ears, specifically those of dogs and cats.
Abelia Trisedta is an ear solution manufactured by Vetnova Laboratories. It has a water-based formula containing active ingredients designed to alleviate the symptoms of ear conditions in dogs and cats.
Its ingredients act as antimicrobials. They target microorganisms to destroy them or inhibit their growth. They help to reduce, treat or prevent infections. They also have an alkalising effect to minimise the proliferation of bacteria.
This product has cleansing properties. It is used to clean both the inside of the external ear canal and the outer ear. It is very easy to use and is easily applied, even in animals with narrow ear canals.
The formula contains no antibiotics, corticosteroids, perfumes or irritating ingredients. To enhance its benefits, benzyl alcohol has been added. It can be used for short- or long-term treatment, depending on the pet’s condition and needs.
This solution is colourless, a very useful feature as it prevents staining of objects that come into contact with the animal. Experts consider the drops to be effective in treating otitis and as a complement to antibiotics that require an alkaline pH to work.
It helps prevent recurrent chronic otitis of bacterial origin. It is suitable for ears with a perforated eardrum. It also aids in the treatment of both Gram-negative and Gram-positive infections.
Vetnova Abelia Trisedta, 118 ml is indicated for the care, cleaning and maintenance of healthy ears in pets (dogs and cats).
If the solution is to be used in combination with products that require an alkaline pH, it is advisable to apply it 15 to 30 minutes beforehand to enhance its effects.
First, fill the ear canal by applying between 1 and 5 ml (the amount depends on the size of the animal).
Next, massage the base of the ear firmly but gently to help the solution spread more easily.
Finally, remove any residue by wiping the outer ear with a paper towel or gauze. No washing or rinsing is required.
Repeat this process every 12 or 24 hours. As a maintenance treatment, apply once or twice a week.
The product may cause eye irritation.
