Waterpik Oral Irrigator is an accessory specially designed for use after brushing. It helps to eliminate bacterial plaque more efficiently. Among the benefits of its recurrent use are the following:

• It has the ability to prevent bleeding gums or gingivitis. This is due to two specific causes. The first of these has to do with the removal of plaque. On the other hand, the pulse of the water does not generate friction as strong as that of the brush, so it will not irritate the area.
• A benefit derived from the above is that halitosis or bad breath can be prevented.
• Those with orthodontics, dental implants or dentures can enjoy an additional benefit. In the case of orthodontics, it removes food debris entangled in the brackets. You also don't have to scrub the prosthesis to clean it thoroughly.
• It can leave a feeling of freshness much like using toothpaste or mouthwash, but without the menthol.

It is indicated to complement the cleaning or dental hygiene of any person.

To use this accessory correctly, the following step by step must be taken into account:

1. Insert the batteries in the indicated place.
2. Remove the tank from the base and fill it with lukewarm water. Subsequently, it should be placed back on the base firmly.
3. Choose one of the two nozzles and place it on the handle.
4. Lean towards the sink and bring the nozzle close to the mouth.
5. Start the device from the lowest pressure and increase it progressively.
6. Direct the jet at a 90 degree angle towards the gums where the tooth starts to show.
7. Leave the jet in one place for a prudent amount of time in order to clean completely.
8. Once the cleaning is finished, remove the container and throw away the rest of the liquid. It can be refilled if the cleaning is not completed.

For best cleaning, it is recommended to start from the molars and finish on the front teeth. Never store the accessory with water in the tank. This procedure does not replace tooth brushing and flossing.

This product has no contraindications for use.
