Wash your hands before and after applying the plaster. Remove the blue protective film so that part of the adhesive side is exposed. Use a mirror to apply the plaster to the cold sore. Once applied, hold it firmly in place. Gently peel back the white protective film covering the remaining part of the plaster, then apply it along the lip. We do not recommend removing the plaster until it starts to come away; when removing it, use tweezers to avoid contact with the affected area.
It is intended for adults with a cold sore who wish to protect it during the day. Before choosing this product, check that the size, absorbency or packaging matches your specific needs.
Do not apply to an infected area or one with active bleeding. Seek medical advice if the lesion does not improve within 10–12 days or recurs frequently.
