The collar is effective for 3 months. However, it is specially developed to repel insects and prevent ectoparasite bites, so it is possible that some ticks may remain attached to the animal. It is not deactivated by water or moisture and does not cloud the animal's olfactory senses. The BIO Band collar contains Margosa extract (Neem oil) known for its insect repellent properties and Lavandin oil which provides a pleasant scent as well as repellent properties.
Thanks to its manufacturing process, this collar ensures a continuous release of the Margosa and Lavandin extract.
