Do not take other medicines containing paracetamol at the same time, as this could lead to an overdose.

Paracetamol Normon in renal or hepatic impairment

In patients with impaired kidney function, it may be necessary to increase the interval between doses. According to the information provided:

  • Glomerular filtration rate of 10–50 ml/min: 500 mg every 6 hours.
  • Glomerular filtration rate below 10 ml/min: 500 mg every 8 hours.

In patients with liver failure, the dose must not exceed 2 g per day and an 8-hour interval between doses must be observed.
