Drops for the treatment of pressure ulcers, the main problem faced by people who are immobilised for a prolonged period of time.
Contains 50 ml.

Pressure ulcers are caused by tissue ischaemia caused by a continuous pressure higher than the capillary pressure responsible for oxygenating an immobilised area of the body subjected to pressure. As a consequence of the lack of oxygenation of that area, tissue necrosis occurs.
This type of injury is always preventable.
Pressure ulcers occur in a muscular area as a response to the lack of oxygen produced by the continuous pressure higher than the capillary pressure that oxygenates the area, if the person remains immobilised for longer than desirable. The supporting bones compress the gluteal musculature, resulting in tissue necrosis.
In addition to the weight of the immobilised person, the formation of these wounds is accelerated by:
- Creases in personal and bedding clothing.
- If the person is wet, tissue maceration is promoted.
- Clinical factors such as anaemia, infection, diabetes, hypovitaminosis C.
The best treatment is always prevention, especially with massage and postural changes:
Apply Corpitol Ulcer Drops to the skin in the area at risk or already fragile, massaging gently to facilitate absorption.
Massage gently with the fingertips for one minute. Repeat the application on each area at risk 2 to 3 times a day.
Corpitol Ulcer Drops contains: Hyperoxygenated glycerides of essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic), palmitic and stearic, phytosterols, tocopherols (Vitamin E) 99 g. Aniseed perfume q.s.c. 100 g.
