Fisioenema, 4 x 250 ml

This pack contains four 250 ml enemas. Each unit contains a 0.9% saline solution in a flexible, airtight container with a non-return valve and a pre-lubricated, latex-free cannula.

FisioEnema is a medical device for rectal cleansing when necessary, for example in cases of faecal impaction or prior to certain examinations and procedures. It can be used in adults and children over the age of two, following the instructions on the packaging and professional advice.

• 0.9% isotonic sodium chloride solution.
• Pre-lubricated cannula and flexible packaging to facilitate application.
• Latex-free and usually produces the desired effect around five minutes after application.

Active ingredients: 0.9% sodium chloride. Other ingredients: benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate and purified water.

For rectal use only. Remove the protective sheath, carefully insert the cannula and squeeze the container gently and continuously. Each enema is for single use only. The general dosage is one or two enemas a day, depending on the clinical presentation; always follow the product instructions.

For adults and children over two years of age when bowel cleansing is required. In children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or prior to a medical procedure, it is advisable to confirm the dosage with the responsible healthcare professional.

Do not use in children under two years of age or in cases of allergy to any of its ingredients. Stop use if resistance is felt. Benzalkonium chloride may cause local irritation. Do not use for more than six consecutive days. If bowel movement does not occur or discomfort persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
