Exeltis Stratacel Gel is a gel dressing indicated for wound healing and skin repair in case of skin lesions. This product does not contain alcohol, parabens or fragrances and comes in a 10 g format.
Exeltiis Stratacel gel is a product in gel format that dries to create a kind of transparent, protective film or layer in the form of a dressing, which contributes to the healing of wounds and the protection of damaged or compromised skin with open wounds. As it dries, the flexible dressing generated keeps bacteria or contaminating factors away from the injury. This helps to alleviate soreness, burning, itching and possible skin irritation at the wound. This dressing helps to reduce redness and discolouration of the compromised skin.
The advantage of this product is that it can cover large areas of the skin surface, even extensive wounds with contours or reliefs. This silicone gel does not tend to dry out the skin, on the contrary, it keeps it moisturised until complete healing, as it favours the passage of oxygen to the skin. This is a non-reactive product, as it has a pH suitable for the skin and is suitable for superficial wounds, burns and fractionated treatments. It is an advanced product, very practical to use and ideal to have in the first aid kit.
Exeltis Stratacel Gel is specifically indicated for use by people with very sensitive skin, with open wounds or areas where the integrity of the skin has been compromised. It is suitable for all skin types and can even be used on children, pregnant women and nursing mothers.
Farmaciasdirect recommends cleansing the skin before applying the gel and carefully blot excess exudate or fluid from the lesion. Then apply a very thin layer of the gel to the affected area and allow it to dry and form the transparent layer. This should happen within 5-6 minutes after application. If it takes longer, it is possible that more than the recommended amount has been used. Once dry, any type of cosmetics, sun cream or clothing can be applied. It is advisable to apply once a day or twice a day on the most exposed areas.
