Biorga Minoxidil 20 mg/ml, equivalent to 2 per cent, is a topical solution indicated for the treatment of gradual hair loss in adults.

Minoxidil Biorga 20 mg/ml is a topical solution indicated for the treatment of gradual hair loss in adults aged 18 to 65.
Its formula contains minoxidil as the active ingredient, at a concentration of 20 mg per ml of solution, which is equivalent to a concentration of 2%.
It is particularly suitable for cases of progressive hair thinning or hair loss on the top of the head.
It is intended for adults aged between 18 and 65 who are experiencing gradual hair loss or progressive thinning of the hair.
In men, it is mainly used when there is hair loss or thinning on the top of the scalp. In women, it can be used in cases of generalised hair thinning.
Minoxidil is a topical peripheral vasodilator. Although its exact mechanism of action on hair growth is not fully understood, it acts at the level of the hair follicle and helps to stimulate hair growth.
It is important to bear in mind that this is a treatment for hair loss, not a definitive cure. Therefore, consistent application is essential to maintain the results.
Apply 1 ml directly to the affected area of the scalp, twice a day, preferably in the morning and at night.
A 1 ml dose is equivalent to 7 sprays. Massage gently with your fingertips and wash your hands after each application.
Do not exceed the recommended dose, as applying more will not improve the results and may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Results are not immediate. In general, new hair growth occurs gradually and it may be necessary to continue treatment for at least 4 months to assess its effectiveness.
During the first few weeks, a temporary increase in hair loss may be observed; this may be related to the product’s effect on the hair growth cycle.
Each ml of topical solution contains 20 mg of minoxidil, equivalent to a concentration of 2%.
The other ingredients are: propylene glycol, 96% ethanol and purified water.
The concentration equivalence is as follows: 20 mg/ml = 2%. This means that each ml of the product contains 20 mg of minoxidil.
It must not be used by anyone under the age of 18, nor should it be applied to an irritated, inflamed, reddened or painful scalp.
Consult a doctor or pharmacist in the event of sudden or unexplained hair loss, a history of heart or vascular conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if no improvement is observed after 4 months’ use.
