Lacovin 50 mg/ml Minoxidil topical solution contains 5% minoxidil and is indicated for the treatment of moderate androgenetic hair loss in adults.
Lacovin 50 mg/ml Minoxidil topical solution, 4 bottles x 60 ml, is a topical medicine formulated with minoxidil. Each ml of solution contains 50 mg of minoxidil, equivalent to a 5% concentration .
It is indicated for the treatment of moderate androgenetic hair loss in adults. It is applied directly to the scalp and helps to stimulate hair growth by acting at the level of the hair follicle.
It is intended for adults with moderate hair loss associated with androgenetic alopecia. It must not be used in children or adolescents, unless medically indicated. It is also not recommended during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.
Apply 1 ml to the scalp every 12 hours, preferably in the morning and at night. The maximum recommended dose is 2 ml per day, regardless of the size of the affected area.
It should be applied to a completely dry scalp, starting from the centre of the area to be treated and spreading the solution with the fingertips. After each application, it is recommended that you wash your hands thoroughly.
It must not be applied to other parts of the body, nor should a hairdryer be used to speed up the drying of the product.
Each ml of topical solution contains 50 mg of minoxidil, equivalent to 5% minoxidil.
The pack contains 4 bottles of 60 ml, with a total content of 240 ml of topical solution.
Do not use if you are allergic to minoxidil or any of the other ingredients in the formulation. Do not apply to an irritated, inflamed, infected, or wounded scalp, or to areas of the skin with lesions.
It is recommended that you consult a doctor or pharmacist before starting treatment if you have a history of cardiovascular problems, blood pressure disorders or heart disease.
Avoid contact with the eyes, mucous membranes or broken skin. In the event of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Local effects such as itching, redness, dryness, irritation, flaking, dermatitis, a burning sensation or stinging may occur at the application site. Hair growth may also occur in unwanted areas if the product comes into contact with other areas of the skin.
Treatment should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted if symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, fainting, low blood pressure, swelling of the hands or feet, sudden weight gain or difficulty breathing occur.
